This OneGrill Rotisserie Motor has been engineered to exceed the performance of all motors on the market today advertised or used for large pigs and hogs. With a multi-gear, anti-backlash gear train this motor avoids the common "flopping" issues seen on weaker motors with uneven cooking of unbalanced loads. We have specifically designed this motor for the rotisserie cooking of very large animals. It is not an "off the shelf" motor that is typically used. The first thing you notice is that it is designed to spin at 2.5 RPM. The ideal speed for cooking. All other motors spin at 6 -15 rpm, a speed that is much too fast for animals weighing in excess of 120 pounds. Next we have a compact fan cooled, face mount gear motor with a corded on/off switch. We don't use a cast aluminum mounting foot that can break. Last but not least, an amazing 1650 In/lb of torque!
